The date is the archive folder's. For a video from the City's channel this is usually the day it was posted, not necessarily the day of the event.
This recording is not attached to a meeting in the meetings list.
The title above is the recording's own. This page does not establish what kind of event the recording is of, and it shows no City record for it.
Other recordings lists the recordings with a machine transcript that are shown on pages of their own; Meetings lists the meetings.
Transcript Partial transcript
Machine transcription of this recording. The words are the recognizer's, except where a passage is marked as corrected or machine re-recognized; most have
not been checked against the audio, so words, numbers and names can be misheard.
It describes what was said. It cannot establish who voted how, an amount or an outcome.
A time links to its passage, and “Copy link” copies that link. “▶ Play” opens the recording at that moment, on YouTube; on this page it moves the player above the transcript.
12 suspect passage(s) marked in place.
How this transcript was made. New machine transcription of the whole recording, with 4 voices separated from the audio.
1 short machine repair(s) (1 word(s)) are labelled in place, with the original words beside them: an ordinary word was replaced only where two further machine readings agreed on a different one.
Checks run on this transcript: the recognizer's own warning signs, whether a voice was detected where the words are and a language review for likely mishearings.
A second, independent machine reading was compared with it word by word: the same words for 98.7% of 538 content words.
Dotted words (2 places) are ordinary wording differences: hover or tap to see the other reading.
12 passages (18% of the words) are marked suspect: their words are not shown ("unclear audio") and support no statement: numbers, amounts, negation or names differ; the language review questioned them; or no voice was detected there.
Agreement between two machine readings is not verification.
Speakers were separated by voice. A plain name rests on evidence tied to that voice; “provisional” is a name from an earlier text-only pass and is not verified; “Speaker N” is an unidentified voice.

Citizens Academy is a wonderful program that's put on by the city. Each session covers a different aspect or department in the city government. To give the participant an idea of what it takes to actually run the city behind the scenes. So
It's a way for the community partners and the community leaders and the citizens to all interact together and engage. So we know what everybody does and how we as a citizen base benefit from what's
right here in our backyard. I love the fact that I get to talk with the department heads and ask my questions just so that I can get a better, deeper understanding of what is going on, how everything is working and not just for the present, but I also get to see what the city is going to do for our future. Because that's very important, not just for my generation, but
So being able to understand what's going on, how it's happening, how it's all going to work out is one of the best things about the Citizens Academy. It's
just a wonderful opportunity to kind of get behind the scenes, learn what goes on to help a city function and how it runs, and also discover opportunities to get involved or just even keeping track of what the city does,
not only to understand what resources are available to us in our own lives as community members, but for us to understand how we can get engaged and involved in our own community. It's really, it should be a two way street. If
someone came up to me and asked me about the Citizens Academy, I would definitely tell them to sign up. You want to be a part of the Citizens Academy because I can't tell you everything that ‸ I learned.
