The date is the archive folder's. For a video from the City's channel this is usually the day it was posted, not necessarily the day of the event.
This recording is not attached to a meeting in the meetings list.
The title above is the recording's own. This page does not establish what kind of event the recording is of, and it shows no City record for it.
Other recordings lists the recordings with a machine transcript that are shown on pages of their own; Meetings lists the meetings.
Transcript Partial transcript
Machine transcription of this recording. The words are the recognizer's, except where a passage is marked as corrected or machine re-recognized; most have
not been checked against the audio, so words, numbers and names can be misheard.
It describes what was said. It cannot establish who voted how, an amount or an outcome.
A time links to its passage, and “Copy link” copies that link. “▶ Play” opens the recording at that moment, on YouTube; on this page it moves the player above the transcript.
39 suspect passage(s) marked in place.
How this transcript was made. New machine transcription of the whole recording, with 9 voices separated from the audio.
9 short machine repair(s) (20 word(s)) are labelled in place, with the original words beside them: an ordinary word was replaced only where two further machine readings agreed on a different one.
Checks run on this transcript: the recognizer's own warning signs, whether a voice was detected where the words are and a language review for likely mishearings.
A second, independent machine reading was compared with it word by word: the same words for 97.2% of 2,270 content words.
Dotted words (18 places) are ordinary wording differences: hover or tap to see the other reading.
39 passages (18% of the words) are marked suspect: their words are not shown ("unclear audio") and support no statement: numbers, amounts, negation or names differ; the language review questioned them; or no voice was detected there.
Agreement between two machine readings is not verification.
Speakers were separated by voice. A plain name rests on evidence tied to that voice; “provisional” is a name from an earlier text-only pass and is not verified; “Speaker N” is an unidentified voice.

We do lots of work for seniors. We try to do as many programs as possible, meeting the needs of our seniors from the time they turn 55 and beyond. Aging Matters is extremely grateful to United Way in Brevard through the money that you will be giving to United Way so that we can take care of your grandparents, your parents, and your other loved ones, your next door neighbors, who depend on Aging Matters for everything they need to stay living healthy. Well, and independent in their own homes.

Our mission here is to provide emergency assistance to those in our community who struggle to obtain life's most basic needs. And I really like to break that down as the food on your table, the shirt on your back, and the roof over your head. That's what we help people obtain and sustain each and every day here at the Sharing Center. The United Way is so important to our day-to-day mission. Their financial support really means that we can help more people, especially here in the Cocoa area, where about 70% of all of our clients come from. Each day we provide food for more than 65 individuals.
We are the only consistent feeding site in Central Brevard, so we offer a hot meal six days a week and a bag of lunch on Sundays. We also provide bags of food on the weekends. Besides the food aspect and dealing with hunger, we also provide many different levels of assistance. We help people here in our own community get off the streets. The funding brought by the United Way helps us each and every day to meet our mission. We provide more than $1.4 million worth of services

in return. We literally share all the things that come back to us back out to the community, whether it be food, whether it be furniture, clothing, health and hygiene.
Being the Sharing Center and helping those in our community. The United Way donation is very important. The impact that it has on agencies like ours helped us meet the needs from hundreds to thousands each year. If you've given in the past, thank you so much. If you haven't, please consider to do so.
And I can almost tell you that you personally have been touched by a program, whether it's a friend of yours, a family member or someone who you work with.
haven't given in the past. It's so important. And if you have given, please consider giving one more dollar. One more dollar would make a huge impact on an organization like ourselves.
We would be able to provide the assistance in regards to clothing and health and hygiene items. That one dollar means a lot. So thank you very much again for supporting the United Way and their campaign. And thank you for supporting the Central Bar Sharing Center. Without you, we would just not be able to provide, again, the level of service. And we simply exist because of the kindness and generosity of others. So thank you very much.
in need. We're here to prevent childhood drowning and keep families together by giving them a good, safe place to go where they can be a family and work out together and be together and strengthen our core values.
swim lessons the opportunity to take swim lessons. Florida is the number one leader in the country for drownings for children ages one to four. Without the help from the United Way, we wouldn't be able to make an impact. It's our mission to make sure that no one in this community drowns and all children have the opportunity to learn how to swim. And with the United Way helping us and supporting us with that, it makes us even better and gives us the opportunity to reach out to more children every year. So by helping and donating to the United Way, you're helping those right here in the Coco community and all the kids and giving them the opportunity to learn how to swim and potentially saving their lives.
where we serve children from the ages of six to 18 in the community here with ‸ direct targeted programs to help hopefully break the cycle of poverty. Currently we have about 45 teens that come regularly and in the younger age, six to 12, we have about 72 on average. We have a total of 136 kids registered with us.
able to operate the great programs that we have without funding from the United Way as one of our primary sources. They also bring programs into the club to support our reading and academic success. They have brought us the My On Reading program.
And we also have the Summer Read and Feed program that allows the kids to take home a meal pack on Friday so that they have good nutrition over the weekend when they're not at the club. So I want to thank you all for being past contributors and hopefully current contributors. All of the dollars that are raised here in our community do stay here. We wouldn't be able to have the services that we have without United Way so I hope that you consider when you're making that donation how much you might be able to give out of your paycheck to support United Way and support programs like ours at the Boys and Girls Club.
As you can see, we have great organizations that help our community and make a difference each day. Programs like these are what your generous support funds. Your dollars also help out fellow employees who utilize many of the great services offered through the United Way such as their free tax preparation services and financial management and counseling services.
know, at least we have the benefits and all that. But some of these people do not have the access to stuff like that. You know, and I think helping out with the United Way which, you know, spread the funds out to help people out, I think is a ‸ good thing for service. Your

the year. Every day you come to work, you make a difference as a public servant in our city. As a first time supporter, giving back just $52 a year will transform the lives of many individuals and families in the community we serve
Again, we're not about a handout. We're about a hand up. Helping people so that they can help themselves. We are here to strengthen the community and your contributions, your generosity helps us to do that. All in support of people right here in our community. Individuals, again, down the street, around the corner.
