The date is the archive folder's. For a video from the City's channel this is usually the day it was posted, not necessarily the day of the event.
This recording is not attached to a meeting in the meetings list.
The title above is the recording's own. This page does not establish what kind of event the recording is of, and it shows no City record for it.
Other recordings lists the recordings with a machine transcript that are shown on pages of their own; Meetings lists the meetings.
Transcript Partial transcript
Machine transcription of this recording. The words are the recognizer's, except where a passage is marked as corrected or machine re-recognized; most have
not been checked against the audio, so words, numbers and names can be misheard.
It describes what was said. It cannot establish who voted how, an amount or an outcome.
A time links to its passage, and “Copy link” copies that link. “▶ Play” opens the recording at that moment, on YouTube; on this page it moves the player above the transcript.
8 suspect passage(s) marked in place.
How this transcript was made. New machine transcription of the whole recording, with 1 voices separated from the audio.
No word has been replaced by anything else.
Checks run on this transcript: the recognizer's own warning signs, whether a voice was detected where the words are and a language review for likely mishearings.
A second, independent machine reading was compared with it word by word: the same words for 95.5% of 555 content words.
Dotted words (12 places) are ordinary wording differences: hover or tap to see the other reading.
8 passages (14% of the words) are marked suspect: their words are not shown ("unclear audio") and support no statement: numbers, amounts, negation or names differ; the language review questioned them; or no voice was detected there.
Agreement between two machine readings is not verification.
Speakers were separated by voice. A plain name rests on evidence tied to that voice; “provisional” is a name from an earlier text-only pass and is not verified; “Speaker N” is an unidentified voice.
My name is Tanisha Taylor-Hyman and I've been a member of PAL since 2013. Actually, it was my sister who was first in it and I saw what she was doing with the program and she got to go places. So I was like, I want to give it a try. So I got into it that summer and it was really fun. It taught me really how to fill out applications and what to look for because I feel like if I hadn't had PAL to help me learn how to prepare myself for a job and how to ask for a job, I don't think I would have even been able to get the job that I have now. It all started with a project we had to do during the training that I was in ‸ the first summer that I was in it. We had to pick a job that what we wanted to be when we were older and we had to build on that. So I wanted to be an entrepreneur. In doing that, I set up my own business.
So I had to set up all that, look at how I wanted my employees, look what I was looking for ‸ my employees, how I was going to set my prices and how I was going to basically run my whole business. I think that's really what set the foundation for me because, you know, you can say what you want to be, but it takes work to actually see how you're going to get there. And that's what
the more people you meet, the better opportunities you have to get mentors. And the more mentors you have, they can give you experience and information on activities and stuff you might be interested in. A kid that wants to play football, but he's not making good grades, he can come to PAL. We can work with him after school to get his grades up.

can really become somebody, I can help my community in the process. So I think it's important for PAL to still be able to do what they do to help better our communities. And then when you have better communities, you have better people and we can get more work done. So I'm just so thankful that I took the
