Transcript Partial transcript
Machine transcription of the meeting recording. The words are the recognizer's, except where a passage is marked as corrected or machine re-recognized; most have
not been checked against the audio, so words, numbers and names can be misheard.
It describes what was said. It cannot establish who voted how, an amount or an outcome — the City's
minutes do that (above).
A time links to its passage, and “Copy link” copies that link. “▶ Play” opens the recording at that moment, as the City's file, in a new tab.
325 suspect passage(s) marked in place; inspection incomplete: language review.
How this transcript was made. New machine transcription of the whole recording, with 18 voices separated from the audio.
26 short machine repair(s) (33 word(s)) are labelled in place, with the original words beside them: an ordinary word was replaced only where two further machine readings agreed on a different one.
Checks run on this transcript: the recognizer's own warning signs and whether a voice was detected where the words are. Not completed: language review.
A second, independent machine reading was compared with it word by word: the same words for 94.1% of 13,998 content words.
Dotted words (478 places) are ordinary wording differences: hover or tap to see the other reading.
325 passages (22% of the words) are marked suspect: their words are not shown ("unclear audio") and support no statement: numbers, amounts, negation or names differ; the language review questioned them; or no voice was detected there.
Agreement between two machine readings is not verification.
Inspection is incomplete: language review.
Speakers were separated by voice. A plain name rests on evidence tied to that voice; “provisional” is a name from an earlier text-only pass and is not verified; “Speaker N” is an unidentified voice.

Let us pray. Our dear, gracious, heavenly Father, Lord, we just thank you for this day, Lord. We thank you for the opportunity to come together as a community, Lord, to make decisions that are best not only for our families but also for our communities. We pray, Lord, you watch over our council, keep a hedge of protection around them and also on our community. Be with our troops and our soldiers, Lord, as we go through difficult times and watch over our president. In your holy name we do pray. Amen. Amen.

I'm the president of the Brevard County, Florida chapter of the Links Incorporated. And just a little bit about the Links Incorporated, if you have not heard of us before. The Links Incorporated is an international not-for-profit corporation established back in 1946. Membership consists of more than 17,000 professional women of African-American descent in over 300 chapters located in 41 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of the Bahama, and in the United Kingdom. These dedicated women, professional women, serve our community through various programs. We prepare our youth for success through our services to youth. We advance their artistic heritage through the arts. We connect them to the global impact through international trends and services. We help them to learn to advocate in their communities through our national trends and services. And we promote health and wellness throughout the community.
our wellness fair that's coming up on ‸ this Saturday. During the month of March, the Links Incorporated launched ‸ nationwide, our fourth annual Black Family Wellness Expo, to share information to help everyone from infant to the adults to live a happy, healthier life.
‸ However, ‸ in addition to educating our communities, numerous health disparities ‸ that impact these communities, the Links Incorporated has expanded its efforts to include financial wellness, voter education, and voter registration information,
impact us nationally and locally. Do you know that health disparities in the underserved communities lead to lower quality of life and shorter lifespan? Here are a few facts. From the American Heart Association, heart disease is the number one killer for all Americans, and stroke is the leading cause of death.
shortest survival rate of any race or ethnic group in the United States of America. And the most is cancer. From the CDC, black Americans between the ages of 18 and 49 are two times likely to die from heart disease than whites. From the National

failures. African Americans are more likely to have Alzheimer's disease than any other race in America and have a higher familial risk than other groups.

Association. Over 70% of black Americans die without any will or other estate planning or documentation in place. So that's why we're including the wealth management piece. Getting the underserved population to advocate for their own health and financial well-being is more important than ever. Working together with everyone in this room, we can change these statistics. Education and information are the key. Education
right to vote is a critical part of the society and educating ‸ voters on their rights as a nonpartisan group with voter education is part of our policy from our organization.

So I attended this event last year. It had so many vendors that took part in this event. I believe our community kind of let us down last year. But I believe that we're going to have a much better turnout this year. ‸ This is on social media. I know I'm pushing it hard. And other people are pushing it hard on social media.
Especially definitely with legacy planning, life life planning. And so I really hope the community shows up, shows out and be in attendance to this great event this Saturday at Jolie Smith Center. So I commend you ladies for bringing it to Coco. It's your second go around in Coco. I hope you keep it in Coco.

So this is a great time to invest in your health because like with the vendors, it was uh structured for all types of quality health, ranging from blood pressure to the consumption of food to your supplements and your diet program so I'm saying because of the location, location please come one, come all. Because even though we we travel on different ships, we face the same storm. And that is health. And that is something that we desperately need to maintain so I'll commend the leaks organization for doing a phenomenal job I'm a strong believer that we will get that turnout because you're touching the mind, the hearts and the soul of the people, which is most important, their health. That is the most important thing. And you can count on me being there so I will

um there were multiple people called maybe probably ‸ last two weeks or so, and it wasn't just that location, other locations. um One of my family members car was towed on G Street, um and they had to go through the same process. Luckily, um PD came and helped out with this situation, and he brought the car back for free. And so it just it's predatory uh towing, um and it's happening more ‸ than than not. And I know we don't really have, from my just looking at our ordinances, something that prohibits that. um And so maybe if the council looks into that discussion, maybe we can bring that forward, maybe

but that's your decision. And um and let you see uh what's what the state of the land is there. Our home was originally built in 1955.
